SuperEval Names Gretchen Restino as Strategic Partnership Executive for New York State

Buffalo, NY – September 2025

SuperEval is pleased to announce that Gretchen Restino has been appointed as the organization’s new Strategic Partnership Executive for New York State, succeeding Bob Hartz, the organization’s long-time VP for Strategic Partnerships.

Restino, who has been with SuperEval for three years, brings deep experience in supporting state initiatives and has quickly established herself as a respected leader among colleagues and clients. Known for her dependability, dedication, and team-first approach, she has led the training and onboarding of new hires and team members while strengthening SuperEval’s partnerships across multiple states. Originally trained as a teacher, Restino brings to her role both firsthand experience in education and a passion for supporting those who lead schools and districts.

Although Bob Hartz leaves behind a remarkable legacy, Restino is dedicated to carrying forward his spirit, enthusiasm, and client-centered approach. Because she and Bob share a close friendship, many of the leaders she will serve already share a trusted bond through him providing continuity and confidence as she steps into her new role.

Restino resides in Allentown, Pennsylvania with her husband and three sons. Two of her boys are continuing the family’s deep ties to New York State through higher education with one currently enrolled at SUNY Cortland and another recently accepted to SUNY Stony Brook. She will make her first appearance as New York’s Strategic Partnership Executive at the NYSCOSS Fall Conference, September 28–30, 2025, in Saratoga Springs, NY.
