SuperEval Announces Collaborative Agreement with the Coalition of Oregon School Administrators (COSA)

September 22nd, 2025

Salem, OR – September 2025

SuperEval is proud to announce a new collaborative agreement with the Coalition of Oregon School Administrators (COSA) for the 2025–2026 school year. In addition to serving as an association partner and leadership supporter for education leaders across Oregon, SuperEval will also host the Superintendent Performance Standards and Descriptors jointly developed by COSA and the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA).

By making these leadership standards dynamically available through the SuperEval platform, Oregon superintendents will benefit from an established process and research-based methodology designed to promote excellence in leadership evaluations. SuperEval’s innovative digital platform not only helps districts move beyond compliance but also fosters a culture of continuous improvement, reflective practices, and goal-oriented evaluation—ultimately leading to stronger leadership and positive student outcomes.

“Oregon’s Superintendent Performance Standards are rooted in best practices and aligned to what effective leadership looks like in today’s complex educational landscape,” said Dr. Krista Parent, Executive Director of COSA. “By partnering with SuperEval, we are giving our members a powerful, user-friendly way to integrate these standards into a digital, reflective process that supports growth and impact.”

The integration of COSA’s jointly developed standards into SuperEval reflects a shared mission: to make leadership evaluations not just an administrative task, but a driver of professional excellence.

“It’s an honor to work alongside COSA in supporting Oregon’s education leaders,” said Dr. Michael Horning, Jr., Group President and Chief Innovation Officer of SuperEval. “This collaboration ensures that the evaluation process inspires reflection, fosters professional growth, and reinforces leadership practices that matter most for student success.”

SuperEval’s work with COSA is also about making the standards easy to use, adaptable to local needs, and embedded in a platform that encourages ongoing dialogue about leadership performance.

To ensure successful adoption, SuperEval will provide Oregon districts with onboarding support, training sessions, and direct access to its client success team. “This is more than making the standards digital. It’s about making sure school leaders have the confidence, resources, and ongoing guidance to put them into action,” said Rob Seitelman, Strategic Partnership Executive with SuperEval. “We’re excited to work hand-in-hand with district leaders to ensure these tools drive real value for their leadership teams.”
