We are proud to announce a new collaboration with the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) to offer NYSSBA’s leadership evaluation tools online for the very first time.
SuperEval facilitates online evaluations for school leaders that help advance annual district goals and promotes continuous improvement and learning. Through a collaborative and evidence-based evaluation process, school leaders are able to improve communication and strengthen relationships, ultimately leading to the enhancement of education in K-12 classrooms.
Teaming up with NYSSBA allows SuperEval to offer web-based versions of NYSSBA’s Board Self-Evaluation Tool, Superintendent Evaluation Tool, and BOCES Superintendent Evaluation Tool, which have previously only been available in paper form as printable PDFs.
“We strongly believe that SuperEval will help advance public education by aligning the goals of boards and district leadership teams,” says Donald J. Jacobs, Ph.D., CEO of SuperEval. “We look forward to working with the great team at NYSSBA to help school districts across the State use SuperEval to create effective and streamlined leadership evaluations.”
“Placing NYSSBA’s evaluation tools on SuperEval provides school districts with a single source for a variety of high-quality, web-based leadership evaluation instruments. Districts can now choose which online evaluation tool that best suits their needs,” says NYSSBA Executive Director Timothy G. Kremer.
“We are thrilled to work in collaboration with NYSSBA on superintendent evaluations as well as school board self-evaluations,” adds Michael Horning, Jr., Executive Vice President of SuperEval. “Our shared mission in providing these important high-quality services will make a positive impact supporting district leadership teams across New York State.”
SuperEval is a web-based approach to leadership evaluations for superintendents, school boards, principals and assistant principals, central office administrators, building level administrators, and support staff. Developed by parent company, PLS 3rd Learning, SuperEval facilitates purposeful leadership evaluations that result in professional learning and development.
The New York State School Boards Association represents 678 school boards and more than 5,000 school board members in New York. NYSSBA provides advocacy, training, and information to school boards in support of their mission to govern the state’s public schools.
