ASBO School Business Official Evaluation Rubric Now Available for SuperEval Users
September 5th, 2019
In cooperation with the Association of School Business Officials of New York (ASBO New York), we are pleased to announce the addition of the School Business Official Evaluation rubric to our online evaluation system. Now, school business officials can utilize competencies developed by ASBO New York that represent the diverse roles and responsibilities of the position to engage in online self-evaluations that are focused on leadership skills and fiscal management.
SuperEval is the only online evaluation system for school leaders and focuses on strengthening teams through self-reflection, deeper conversations, and continuous growth.
“We are very excited about this partnership with ASBO!” said Michael Horning, Jr., Executive Vice President of SuperEval. “Adding an evaluation rubric for school business officials allows for these important education leaders in our districts the opportunity to reflect on their own professional practices while asserting performance with their respective superintendent of schools. SuperEval continues to support an evidence-based evaluation process leading to important conversations and professional growth.”
“We are delighted our evaluation tool will have greater exposure through SuperEval,” said Michael J. Borges, ASBO New York Executive Director.
SuperEval is available to every school district in the United States and offers a menu of standardized rubrics for school boards, superintendents, principals and assistant principals, central office administrators, building level administrators, school business officials, and support staff.
Brian Graham, Ed.D., Superintendent of Grand Island Central Schools, and longtime SuperEval user, said, “I am absolutely thrilled to learn that SuperEval has partnered with ASBO New York to include the School Business Official Evaluation rubric. Ever since I began using SuperEval for my evaluation with the Board of Education, I quickly saw the potential benefits of using the same system with my cabinet level administrative team. The flexibility, ease, and practical use of this tool within SuperEval is essential to the future success of your District and your school business official.”
The School Business Official Evaluation rubric is currently available to use in SuperEval for school leaders in all 50 states.
