What types of evaluations can be conducted using SuperEval?
SuperEval can be used to conduct evaluations for superintendents, administrators (central office and building level), principals, and other school administrative positions.

Where do all the evaluation rubrics originate?
The evaluation instruments and rubrics used within SuperEval are well-established and known frameworks, many of which are approved for use by the various State Departments of Education and/or professional associations. The copyright holders of these evaluation instruments granted permission to make them available within the platform.
What are the system requirements?
SuperEval will work on any computer or device that supports a modern/updated web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Edge. It is mobile and tablet friendly for both Apple and Android devices.
Is SuperEval and the information secure?
YES! SuperEval utilizes an HTTPS connection which is a protocol for secure communications over the Internet. Each page in SuperEval provides encrypted communications between the server and the client. Click here to learn more about the security of our evaluation tool.
Do you have support for users?

Our award-winning Help Desk is ready to take phone calls through our toll-free number, support inquiries through our contact form, or instant chats through the in-site chat feature. Also, the system has internal supports including onscreen page guides, as well as downloadable PDF user manuals.

Can we add our own district evaluation instrument?
Yes. Although we highly encourage district leaders to choose from our library of established instruments, the SuperEval team can work with your district to customize the software with your specific evaluation instrument.
What types of roles exist within SuperEval?

Access to information and functionality within SuperEval is based on the role of the individual within the district. SuperEval currently has the following roles within the system:

Where can I find my previous evaluations?
SuperEval maintains and preserves a digital archive of completed evaluations and supporting evidence. The archive can be accessed by selecting a previous term using the school year dropdown within the tool.
Some of the members of my school board are not tech savvy. Can we still use SuperEval?

Yes! SuperEval is created for your entire leadership team, and technical skill should not deter anyone from using our system.

While SuperEval is intended to reduce paperwork and be very user friendly, we understand that some people would prefer not to conduct their evaluations online. We recommend implementing the online tool for the majority of your leadership team. And in the case of someone who is not tech savvy or comfortable working online, we can certainly print out a copy of the rubric that is being used by your district. The rubric includes descriptions of each competency. We can also print out supporting evidence to help your team member complete the evaluation.

Now with the superintendent’s self-evaluation in hand, they can conduct their own evaluation. That way, the board members could conduct an evaluation for each competency by scoring the rubric, writing comments, and also refer to the superintendent’s self-evaluation.

Once their evaluations are done on paper, a trusted agent, such as the district clerk, could enter the information into the system based on their paper evaluations. In this way, everyone can can function in their comfort zone without even logging into a computer while the leadership team can still enjoy and derive the many benefits from the system.
